Subject: National Security Personnel System
Dear Mr. Bunn,
I wish to comment about NSPS. I am very concerned about the NSPS.
I work at Anniston Army Depot. I have a family who depends on me, not just financially but to be there when needed.
The NSPS, as I read it and have been advised by both the Department and the Union, gives the army the right to deploy me anywhere in the world to perform such duties currently being done by the military so as to release the soldiers for combat.
Sir, it was my impression that our military was “all volunteer” it is my opinion that this regulation violates this process and allows DOD to implement a “back door draft” which is wrong.
I am not a soldier. I am a very patriotic employee with strong religious beliefs working hard to give our soldiers in the field the best equipment in the world. But, the “Back Door Draft” is morally wrong.
Thank you
